1. Who We Are

Silver Saathi is operated by Starai Automations, based in New Delhi, India. Our app is available at saathiai.health and on the Google Play Store.

2. What We Collect

• Account information: Email address and name when you sign up or sign in via Google.
• Voice input: Audio you speak into the app is sent to the AI for processing. We do not store raw audio recordings.
• Notes and reminders: Medicine reminders and notes you create are stored so Saathi can recall them for you.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used — to improve the app. No personal identifiers attached.
• Payment data: Processed by Dodo Payments. We receive only a payment status confirmation — not your card details.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

Silver Saathi uses the following third-party services which may process your data:

• 1. Anthropic Claude API (AI Processing)
  Purpose: Powers all AI conversations in Silver Saathi
  Data sent: Your chat messages and conversation context
  Data retained by Anthropic: Not retained beyond the immediate API response per Anthropic's API data policy

  Purpose: Stores your account, plan, and usage data
  Data stored: Name, email, phone, plan status, message counts

  Purpose: Processes subscription payments
  Data sent: Payment information for ₹99 and ₹299 plans
  Note: Silver Saathi does not store your payment card details. All payment data is handled by Dodo Payments.

  Purpose: Understands how users interact with the app
  Data collected: Page views, session duration, device type, approximate location

  Data: No additional data beyond GA4 above

4. Personal Information You Share in Conversations

Silver Saathi is a productivity and personal assistant app — not a medical device, health monitoring tool, or clinical research application. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition.

Users may naturally mention personal topics (such as medication schedules or daily routines) in conversation with the AI assistant. When this happens:

• Conversation text is processed by Anthropic's Claude API solely to generate helpful assistant responses
• Reminder data (e.g. medicine name and time) is stored in Supabase only to power the reminder notification feature
• This data is never shared with insurance companies, employers, healthcare providers, or any third parties beyond those listed in Section 3
• This data is never used for advertising or profiling
• Silver Saathi does not collect clinical measurements, biometric data, or conduct human subjects research

5. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Silver Saathi service
• To send medicine reminders you have set up
• To allow family members (if you invite them) to view your reminders via the Family Dashboard
• To send payment confirmation emails
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active.

Upon account deletion:

• All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmed deletion request
• Chat history is deleted immediately upon request
• Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement

Inactive accounts (no login for 12 months) may be deleted after 30 days notice to your registered email address.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Portability: Request your data in a readable format
• Objection: Object to how we process your data

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See our Account Deletion page for the full process.

We will confirm deletion within 7 days and complete it within 30 days of your request.

9. Who Sees Your Data

• Supabase — our database provider (stores notes, reminders, account info). Data hosted in South Asia (Mumbai) region.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your voice/text queries. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to API usage.
• Dodo Payments — processes subscription payments.
• Google — sign-in via Google OAuth. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Vercel — hosts our web application.

10. Children's Privacy

Silver Saathi is designed for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Our database uses row-level security. Passwords are never stored — we use Google OAuth only. We review security practices regularly.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify active users by email.
